Advances in Homogeneous Photocatalytic Organic Synthesis with Colloidal Quantum Dots

Colloidal semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) have been proven to be excellent photocatalysts due their high photostability, large extinction coefficients, and tunable optoelectrical properties, attracted extensive attention by synthetic chemists. These properties demonstrate its promise in the field of photocatalysis. In this review, we summarize recent application QDs as homogeneous catalysts various photocatalytic organic reactions. meaningful works transformations show unique catalytic activity dots, which are different from other semiconductors.
